Speech of the Secretary, Energy Sri L N Gupta

 Secretary, Energy highlighted the past achievements of the Power Sector after the reforms process ushered in in the State. In the present scenario, he emphasized on reduction of AT & C losses to a level as envisaged by XI Plan. He stressed on the need for improving the standards of performance by the Licensees so that consumers at large reap the benefits of the reforms process. The State Govt. is already in the process of enhancing the base of generation of power and has signed MoUs with different IPPs.
