Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation the Commission had decided to hear the matter through Video Conferencing in the Virtual Court on 26.10.2021. Accordingly the parties had been intimated.
2. Shri V. Wagle, TPCODL, Ms. Malancha Ghose, (RA), TPWODL, Shri K.C.Nanda, DGM (Fin.), TPWODL, Ms. Asmita Patjoshi, AGM (PP), GRIDCO, Shri B.K.Das, GM (RT&C), OPTCL, Shri Binod Nayak, AGM (Comm.), TPSODL, the representative of SLDC are present. Nobody is present on behalf of DoE, GoO.
3. Both the cases are clubbed together for analogous hearing through video conferencing as both are similar in nature and filed under Section 42 of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with OERC (Terms and Conditions of Intra State Open Access) Regulations, 2020 for withdrawal/reduction of concessional charges etc.
4. During hearing the representative of GRIDCO prays for 15 days time for filing of their reply in both the cases.
5. Prayer of GRIDCO is allowed. The Commission has been pleased to implead GEDCOL and OREDA as respondents in the present cases as their views are necessary for disposal of the matter judiciously. The petitioners are directed to serve soft copy of their petitions on the newly impleaded respondents through email today. All the respondents are directed to file their reply by 09.11.2021 serving copy of the same on the petitioners. The petitioners are directed to file their rejoinder to the reply of the respondents by 16.11.2021 serving copy of the same on them.
6. The registry is directed to issue notice to the newly impleaded parties for appearance and filing of their reply by 09.11.2021
7. Put up on 23.11.2021 at 11.00 AM for analogous hearing. No further notice shall be issued to the parties concerned in this regard except GEDCOL & OREDA.
