Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation the Commission had decided to hear the matter through Video Conferencing in the Virtual Court on 31.08.2021. Accordingly the parties had been intimated.
2. Shri Haresh Satpathy, the representative of OPGC and Ms. Sasmita Patjoshi, AGM (PP), GRIDCO are present. Nobody is present on behalf of DoE, GoO.
3. During hearing Shri R. P. Mahapatra and the representative of the DISCOMs who are present in other matters have prayed the Commission to implead them as respondents in the present proceeding as the outcome of this case pertaining to approval of capital cost for renovation & modernisation work and installation of FGD in Unit-1 & 2 (2x220 MW) will impact on the DISCOMs as well as the consumers of Odisha.
4. Prayers of the Shri Mahapatra and DISCOMs to implead them as party to the present proceeding are allowed as the petitioner has no objection. The petitioner is directed to serve the soft copy of its petition on the newly impleaded respondents today through e-mail. The respondents are directed to file their reply by 14.09.2021 serving a copy of the same on the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to file its rejoinder, if any, by 17.09.2021 serving copy of the same on the other sides.
5. Put up on 21.09.2021 at 11.00 AM for hearing. No further notice shall be issued to the parties concerned in this regard.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation the Commission had decided to hear the matter through Video Conferencing in the Virtual Court on 21.09.2021. Accordingly the parties had been intimated.
2. Shri Haresh Satpathy, Shri Prakash Dora, Shri Nrusingha Panda and Shri Sukanta Mohapatra the representatives of OPGC and Ms. Sasmita Patjoshi, AGM (PP), GRIDCO, Shri V.H.Wagle, TPCODL, Shri K.C.Nanda, DGM (Fin.), TPWODL, Shri Pratap Mohanty, TPNODL, Shri Binod Nayak, Asst. GM (Comm.), TPSODL and Shri R. P. Mahapatra are present. Nobody is present on behalf of DoE, GoO. The reply filed by GRIDCO and the compliance of OPGC to the interim order dated 31.08.2021 of OERC are taken on record.
3. During hearing Shri R. P. Mahapatra and the representative of the DISCOMs prayed the Commission to allow some time to file their reply to the application of the petitioner. Shri Mahapatra also prayed the Commission to direct OPGC to serve the copy of its rejoinder on him. The representative of TPCODL submits that they have nothing to say in this matter.
4. Heard the parties at length. The parties are directed to file their reply by 28.09.2021 serving copy of the same on the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to file its rejoinder to the reply of the respondents by 05.10.2021 serving a copy of the same on the respondents.
5. Hearing concluded. Post the matter on 26.10.2021 for Orders.
